Progress MS-20 undocking and departure
At 11:04 Moscow time, it is planned to turn on the Progress MS-20 engine for braking to deorbit, due to which the ship will enter the atmosphere and collapse. According to the calculations of specialists from the enterprises of the State Corporation Roscosmos, unburned elements of its structure will fall in the non-navigable area of the South Pacific Ocean.
The Progress MS-20 spacecraft was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on June 3, 2022 by a Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket and moored to the ISS on the same day, delivering more than 2.5 tons of cargo. With the help of the spacecraft engines, 11 ISS orbit corrections were performed.
