Chang’e-5 capsule atmospheric reentry
China National Space Administration (CNSA) ground teams are ready for the landing of the Chang’e-5 capsule at the Siziwang Banner in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Ready for Chang’e-5 landing
CNSA tested the reentry and landing process during the Chang’e 5-T1 mission in 2014. Rafael Sahagun Schwartz (president of the Maspalomas Station, Spain) explains the importance of tracking the Chang’e-5 capsule.
ESA tracks Chang'e-5 Moon mission
According to Lin Yangting (professor, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences), a joint team will be formed with European researchers to study the samples, part of the cooperation with the European Space Agency.
