Long March-3B launches FengYun-4B
A Long March-3B launch vehicle launched the FengYun-4B (FY-4B) meteorological satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, Sichuan Province, southwest China, on 2 June 2021, at 16:17 UTC (3 June, at 00:17 China Standard Time).

According to official sources, the satellite has successfully entered the desired orbit. FY-4B (风云四号B) is the eighth FY meteorological satellite, the second FY-4 geostationary meteorological satellite and the most advanced of the series.
