The Long March-7 Y5 launch vehicle launched the Tianzhou-4 cargo spacecraft from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site, Hainan Province, China, on 9 May 2022, at 17:56 UTC (10 May, at 01:56 local time).

Tianzhou-4 (天舟四号) is the third cargo mission scheduled to autonomously dock to the Tianhe Core Module (天和核心舱), the first and main component of the China Space Station (中国空间站).
