YF-77 rocket engine tested for Long March-5 Y6

According to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), testing of the YF-77 rocket engines for the Long March-5 Y6 launch vehicle has beed successfully completed on 30 June 2022. YF-77 is a high thrust hydrogen-oxygen engine designed for the Long March-5 series of launch vehicles.

The tested engines have been delivered to be integrated into the Long March-5 Y6 launch vehicle (长征五号遥六), that will be shipped to the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site, Hainan Province, China.

According to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), a successful test of a YF-75D rocket engine for the Long March-5 Y7 (长征五号遥七) launch vehicle has performed on 1 July 2022.

YF-75D is a hydrogen-oxygen engine designed for the second stage of the Long March-5 series of launch vehicles. The engine will undergo further testing in order to confirm its vacuum thrust performance.
