A Long March-2D launch vehicle launched the Beijing-3B satellite (BJ-3B) from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, Shanxi Province, China, on 24 August 2022, at 03:01 UTC (11:01 local time).

Beijing-3B (北京三号B) is an Earth-observation satellite with a 0.5 m resolution, designed and manufactured by DFH Satellite Co., Ltd, part of Twenty First Century Aerospace Technology Pte. Ltd.

According to official sources, the satellite entered the desired orbit and will be “mainly be used to provide remote sensing services in the fields of land resources management, agricultural resources survey, environment monitoring and city applications”.
