The first launch of SSLV-D1
ISRO’s SSLV-D1 rocket was launched for the first time from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), Sriharikota, India, on 7 August 2022, at 03:48 UTC (09:18 IST).

For its first developmental flight, the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) launched EOS-02 (Microsat-2A), an Earth observation satellite weighing 135 kg, into low Earth orbit (LEO). As a secondary payload, AzaadiSAT is a 8U Cubesat weighing around 8 kg.
