A Long March-4C launch vehicle launched the third Yaogan-34 remote-sensing satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, China, on 15 November 2022, at 01:38 UTC (09:38 local time).

According to official sources, the remote sensing satellite Yaogan-34-03 (遥感三十四号03星) “will be used in areas such as land resources survey, urban planning, crop yield estimation, and disaster prevention and mitigation”.
