Today, the orbit of the International Space Station has been adjusted to ensure the landing of the Soyuz MS-22 unmanned spacecraft.

The engines of the Progress MS-22 cargo ship docked to the Russian service module Zvezda were turned on at 22:47 Moscow time and worked for 318 seconds, generating an impulse of 0.6 m/s.

As a result, according to preliminary data, the average altitude of the station's orbit increased by 1.1 km and amounted to 419.3 km.

During the entire flight time of the ISS, 335 corrections were made to its orbital altitude, including 184 with the help of Progress cargo spacecraft engines.

Landing of the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft in unmanned mode is planned at the end of March 2023 southeast of the Kazakh city of Zhezkazgan.
