Falcon 9 carrying Starlink 79 liftoff
A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched 21 second-generation Starlink satellites (Starlink-79 / Starlink 6-2) to low-Earth orbit, from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, on 19 April 2023, at 14:31 UTC (10:31 EDT).

Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the “A Shortfall of Gravitas” droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s first stage (B1073) previously supported seven missions: Hispasat Amazonas Nexus, SES-22, Hakuto-R M1, CRS-27 and three Starlink missions.
