A Northrop Grumman Pegasus XL launch vehicle launched the Tactically Responsive Launch-2 (TacRL-2) mission from the company’s “Stargazer” L-1011 aircraft, on 13 June 2021, at 08:11 UTC (01:11 PDT).

The TacRL-2 mission delivered a technology demonstration satellite to Low Earth Orbit for the United States Space Force (USSF). The Stargazer” L-1011 aircraft was takeoff from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
